Storm/Inclement Weather Policy

In-Person Weekday Classes

​

-Green Light Driving Academy will follow the Charles County Public School system for closures. If CCPS is closed, Green Light Driving Academy will also be closed. Classes will be moved to a virtual class just for that day or days. Students would need to check their email for the link to join class via Zoom. We reserve the right to make any changes. If inclement weather begins later in the day and school was not closed, we still may elect to have classes meet virtually. If you are a current student, please check your email for updates.

Behind the Wheel

-If inclement weather is predicted for a weekend and a student has booked a behind the wheel appointment, we may cancel all weekend appointments as a precaution and reach out to the students individually to reschedule. It is likely that we will parallel Charles County Parks and Recreation for weekend closures, however, we may choose to close at our discretion. While new drivers should get practice hours in adverse conditions, we will not conduct behind the wheel lessons in storms/inclement weather conditions.
